In no particular order:
1). Rivers needs to be masterful: He's done pretty much everything that you can in the regular season, now it's time to write a magical playoff script. He's proven a lot of his detractors wrong this year (including me). It's time to show how an elite QB can be the great equalizer in a playoff run.
2). Pagano needs to design the scheme of his life: He's capable, we've seen great efforts against Indy and Denver. If we go into Cincy without something up his sleeve and just wait around to see what they're gonna do, we'll get run out of the stadium. He needs to have these guys ready to play with some wrinkles to throw at Dalton and co.
3). TACKLE: This has been a decade-long problem now that probably won't get fixed overnight but our tackling in the first half last week against KC was even worse than our usual norm. These guys have too many explosive playmakers to let them run free after initial contact.
4). Play the keep-away game: We need to have a pretty lopsided TOP in our favor. Keep the ball for like as close to 40 min as possible and our chances of winning go waaaay up.
5). Somebody on defense needs to make a name for themselves: We see it all the time each year, someone unheralded steps up to make a name and shines throughout the playoffs. We need somebody like Te'o, Ingram, Reyes, etc to step up and have a defining game/moment.
Feel free to add.
