    Any chance you that Gates comes back or has that ship sailed?

    I've got to admit that I would like to see him back for one more ride, plus our current group hasn't exactly impressed.

    If it's gonna happen, it's gotta happen soon right?

      Chargers placed TE Hunter Henry (ACL) on reserve/PUP.

      It's notable because it leaves open the possibility for a late-season return. The Chargers would have to be in playoff contention, of course, and Henry almost certainly wouldn't be available before late November, but Henry coming back in December wouldn't be crazy. The 23-year-old tore his ACL in May. Late December would give him seven full months of recovery time.

    Not need for him to be part of TC. Green handles the bulk of the TE snaps still, Gates comes in in the red zone.
