Would not be shocked if he ends up on PUP with Henry. I think Scott is on PUP as well right? Expected to return? We only get 2 guys who can go on PUP/Return. Sure hope Scott is healthy enough.

I dont even know what his deal is? Is Scott on IR? Out for the season? Or PUP?

PUP is only for those that couldn't practice, so Henry is the only one eligible for that status. They can bring back 2 players from IR, but they don't have to identify them in advance. Players have to stay on IR for at least 8 weeks.

I guess Scott can come back, but with two WRs on the Practice Squad, probably not. Henry just needs rehab time, might be available in December.

Thats right. So Scott is on IR/Return now? My point is if we put Bosa on IR/Return with Henry we have to use a roster spot to keep an unhealthy Scott. I dont know that he would be safe on the PS. I think he has enough interest in the league.

I've heard nothing about Scott's injury, other than an ankle. He doesn't have to come out of IR, but if they want to get him onto the PS, he has to clear waivers first. Henry doesn't count to the designated return, but has to go to IR after 6 weeks, but if he's ready, the league has granted waiver exemptions to get players up to speed, then the team has to cut someone for him to get to the active squad. So ultimately Henry will probably go to the IR, and if he's ready at the end of the season, he could come back as one of the two designees. Crossing fingers, that we don't have to IR anyone that we need to have to bring back by the end of the season.

Im just trying to figure out what Scott's designation is. He is on IR. Im not sure if that is of the 6 week variety or if hes out the year.

Sucks about Bosa. But bruise is better than fracture.

An avulsion fracture of my sons distal fibula ruined his career. Well that and concussions. It was rough this past year at college not playing.

I'm glad it isn't a lisfranc, or plantar faciatis or Turf Toe, But a bone bruise isn't 'soft tissue'.

Also, you cannot take a numbing shot for a bone bruise. You can take oxy or Percocet or morphine but you cannot numb a bone. PS. It hurts like heck, too.
