Kind of OT, but i am really surprised that they haven't IR'd Taylor. Why not add an extra body to the 53 man roster? Kerwynn Williams or Scafe. Maybe someone off the street (if they fear having to cut them and have them go through waivers).

Woodhead is not injured! Come on, people, think about it. It's situational football. If you're just going to run it up the gut every play to run out the clock and not even pretend there's a possibility of a pass, you play your power back (or his backup). This is why Brown was in there. Woodhead is a tough runner, but he is not a power back!

I've also been checking all over, and there is zero injury info on Woodhead....Matthews re-injured his ankle in the third, and that is why he went out.

Mathews reinjured the ankle. He couldn't go. McCoy is protecting him because so many fans/media say he doesn't or won't play hurt. Mathews was plenty effective in the first half and would have been used to protect the lead. But he did look gimpy after a couple of those runs. And it took the ACE announcers pretty much all game to realize Mathews was not in there.

On Matthews.... Today Mathews is quoted saying something to the affect Of... In my mind I'm playing (not I'm playing) and McCoy simply said he would update later in the week. I'm not feeling this... I hope I'm wrong, but Mathews is an important piece of this TEAM. We need him running hard like he has on this run we are on.

I would be surprised if Mathews didn't play. They are going to do everything in their power to make sure he's ready for the game. There are only three left, he will play.
