Any good college kicker should hit that extra point consistently let alone a pro. If a kicker keeps missing extra points and short distance fg it's mostly because the ST coaching staff doesn't get him in a right state of mind when he's in there, and he's not confidence in other parts of the execution, the protection, the snap, and hold. If the kicker keep missing 40 - 50 yds FG but able to hit that extra point then yeah, it's the talent issue. If he keeps missing extra points then it's not talent issue, it's the mental issue. And the coaching staff responsible for getting their players in the best state of mind when they step on that field. Vinatieri has been good with IND but no longer clutch in the lv at NE, wonder why.Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se

Let's see, Lambo struggles here, goes to a new team and flourishes. Sturgis was a solid kicker for the Eagles, comes here and struggles. Coincidence? Or bad coaching? Given how awful the rest of our ST are, I'd lean towards the latter. Cutting him now would be just like cutting Koo last year - picking through the kicker scrap heap for a replacement.

Not sure why you think it's so far fetched to think that Lynn might actually listen to Stewart and go with the kicker he recommended, especially given that Stewart was Lynn's mentor early in his career. But it really doesn't matter, you just like to play your little games when replying and I'm bored with it.
