Key Players This Week

Obviously we need to play well overall. But who are the guys you think need to come up big for us this weekend?

Mine:

1. Ingram- Needs to apply as much pressure as we saw last week. Just needs to consistently be pushing Forehead off the mark.

2. Rivers- Ball security. If he continues to show good decision-making (including when to eat the ball) and minimizes turnovers, I think we'll be there at the end regardless of whether we emphasize running or passing.

3. Keenan Allen- Would like to see him step up and be a factor. When he's making plays, this offense hums.

4. Wright- We need at least one of these DBs to step up and have a good ballgame besides Weddle.

5. Ohrenberger- He would be my second favorite German on the roster if he played again like he did last week.

King Dunlap and DJ Fluker. They need to stay healthy and dominate all game. I guess the same could be said of the other side with Liuget and Reyes.

Mathews/Woody and the run blocking. Best way to keep Peyton off the field is with long methodical drives. Rivers 3rd down conversions and TDs in the redzone..not FGs.

Ladarius Green. Get this man some more red zone targets! TDs not FGs!

Liuget, Reyes, Cam. If we can get significant penetration from our line, the edges will have a field day. Not to mention manning won't be able to step up.

Agreed--You know Del Rio is going to stack the line, take away the run, and try to force Rivers to make mistakes while under pressure. Broncos are not likely to "cooperate" like last time. Manning is going to try to control the clock with Welker, so our pass rush better be up to speed. Hope it's windy too--Manning hates that...

Agreed...if there was ever a time for the DL to assert their dominance, this game is it.

Although Reyes did have a nice game last week.

My vote goes to Ronnie Brown. I have this bad feeling that RM will be limited again. But I think Brown will surprise. If we can get the same kind of run blocking we did in Cincy, he will help us move the chains in steady fashion.
