Don't know why they would do that. I mean sure they are playing in Qualquam for that year but are leaving the next season. Vegas shows them every week but they are moving here for good and San Diego hosting them isn't going to change that. I think the motive is just to make some money because Qualquam isn't getting any action.

Is it too late for an 11th hour change that would put the Chargers in Vegas
        and the turds in LA?
just seems to much more fitting

Oh...that would be great. A stadium falling apart around a team falling apart.

Gruden has an out right now by blaming the GM. "He's been here for years.....I've only been here a few months......he traded Mack......" You can see the excuses lined up for Corona boy, but by year 2 into 3 these will cease to exist........

ask QSmokey  All it took was not re-signing his favorite player who then signed with the Turds.

the upside would be the Chargers playing in QComm again- but this time as the Visiting team- and STILL not having a fan advantage! THAT would be worth the price of admission..

                      Good memory 2002
AP Sports Writer Tackle John Parrella, a key run-stuffer for the San Diego Chargers the last 51/2 seasons, agreed Wednesday to a $24 million, six-year contract with the division rival Oakland Raiders, according to a source familiar with the negotiations. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Parrella will receive a $4.75 million signing bonus in the deal that is expected to be announced Thursday. The loss of Parrella is a big blow to a defense that's been ranked in the top 10 against the run the last four seasons. Parrella started 89 straight games dating to the eighth game of the 1996 season.

Yup, completely agree. Vegas has no team so you would think they'd come out and support the one they get. Something the Chargers need. While LA already has a Raiders fan base.

ironic that a day after this post (today) news breaks about NFL having discussions regarding the viability of the LA Chargers.
personally, i'd be much happier to root for the Las Vegas Chargers!
