A certain local radio station in SD are pushing for the Raiders to play next year in San Diego, in case they can't renew their lease for next year. I'm not sure if I'd be ok with missing the Chargers on local TV, but the city might do it just to spite the Chargers owners.

Don't know why they would do that. I mean sure they are playing in Qualquam for that year but are leaving the next season. Vegas shows them every week but they are moving here for good and San Diego hosting them isn't going to change that. I think the motive is just to make some money because Qualquam isn't getting any action.

the upside would be the Chargers playing in QComm again- but this time as the Visiting team- and STILL not having a fan advantage! THAT would be worth the price of admission..

Yup, completely agree. Vegas has no team so you would think they'd come out and support the one they get. Something the Chargers need. While LA already has a Raiders fan base.

ironic that a day after this post (today) news breaks about NFL having discussions regarding the viability of the LA Chargers.
personally, i'd be much happier to root for the Las Vegas Chargers!
