Great! Gruden has to stay around now because he deserves a chance to let the young guys develop. And he will miss on every young guy he picks! What FA will want to play for the raiders?

The odd thing is that Gruden historically doesn't like young players, he likes veteran players (and looking at who he added this season, it doesn't appear as if anything changed). Looks like a total rebuild for when they move to Vegas. Our games against them just got easier!

raiders will be good when all those early picks mature at once.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

It would be wise to observe the enemy... just in case.... hope Tommie is paying attention.

I wonder if they pawn Carr off on somebody like the Jags...

Oakland....where train wrecks come to call home.

I have no faith with 5 #1 picks in 2 years that they will pick well nor know how to coach them. Fans of Raiders have got to be rolling in their Al David costumes about now. Al...long live Al!

According to the Athletic's Vic Tafur, a number of Raiders veterans have questioned coach Jon Gruden's "accountability" in the wake of the Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper trades.

Gruden told the press that Cooper was not on the trading block. He lied. But so do most NFL teams. It is bus-I-ness. Wilks says Patrick Peterson will not be traded. He will, if the offer is what the Cardinals want. Owners often give head coaches votes of confidence just before they are fired.

In the Raiders' case, those that are traded should feel lucky. This is going to be a long and messy rebuild with a relocation to boot. And the rebuild goes from the front office through the players to the groundskeepers. The only ones not impacted are Son of AL and Gruden.
