I'm sure there are a lot of other examples either way, just kinda pissed that Philips couldn't do shit for us in the playoffs and gets up being a key disruptor for today for Denver. FFS.

Ever hear of Danny Woodhead? The rest or most is just due to bad coaching the last few years. Good example of that is Darren Sproles going elsewhere and doing better.

Same goes for alot of our draftpicks. You see alot of them thriving now under good coaching. I wonder how many of our busts could have actually succeeded with decent coaching. That's what excites me most about the future, we actually have coaching that can get the most out of our players.

Phillips played pretty good when the Bolts beat Manning in the Colts in the playoffs that year that Sproles ended the game in OT. He had a good game that day, I remember that.

Agree, it's just perception...some guys pan out, some guys don't. Antonio Garay was a scrap head pickup in the middle of the year, and he started for 2 or 3 years. Never forget him sacking Manning with his own Offensive Lineman that one time.

The second sack that Philips got wasn't on Fluker. Philips was stonewalled, and wasn't even pressuring Rivers. The rush came through Troutman, Rivers stepped through the pocket and Philips went down the line to take down Rivers. Not on Fluker at all. It was just a clean up sack, being in the right place at the right time.
