I like where in the chargers.com video he mentions aggressive play calling several times, around the 3 min mark. Also mentions putting the game in the QB's hands and trusting in your players to make plays.

I like being aggressive, but I'm actually surprised our passing game was as good as it was with the WR's we had most of the season.

I hope they take the slow-huddle thing to new heights next year. That was fun to watch.

Growing up around Buffalo back when they ran the no huddle with Jim Kelly they always talked about doing more or that. I always thought that getting up to the line quick so you cannot sub, then milking the clock (with a few plays run quickly just to keep the D off balance) would be the perfect compromise. But Jim Kelly used to like to run it up tempo most of the time, and it often hurt the Bills D.

I am sure that Reich has had plenty of time to reflect on those sort of things, and is ready to improve on them.

I very much like the idea of changing up the pace of the no huddle with occationaly snapping the ball as soon as they ofence is set. Put the defence on there heels, give your oline a chance to t-off on the dline in the running game. Dictating pace in otherwords.
                    Go Rivers!

Agreed, use it to every advantage you possibly can. We did a lot less of it as the year went on and Mathews really started to kick it up, I loved it. I hope it's a big part of scheme next year.

Cool speaking engagement by Frank. You can see he gets the game and why you are there. It will be interesting to see how much an Xs and Os guy he is but having been a QB for 14 years certainly will give the background to be aware of all the positions and how to be effective. Hopefully he learned a great deal and is ready for this challenge and to take advantage of the tools he has which are good enough to get this team to the playoffs.
