Epilogue.

Three or so weeks after the firing of Chud, the Browns fly to Florida to interview Greg Schiano. Now THAT is a proven winner and a proven leader. And the fact that that Banner/Haslam/Lombardi waited three weeks when the guy has been out there for months shows how planned their search is. (Word is that Schiano is not interested)

Another week and the Browns announce they are interested in Koetter, the OC of the Falcons (who tanked big time) another proven winner and leader.

Oh and they will give Pettine, the BIlls DC his third interview today. I guess the first two interviews passed without them asking all the questions they needed to hear answers to.

I am telling you, I live in Browns country. I do not like the Browns. But the fans are rabid, blindly loyal, long suffering. Model stabbed them in the back, they haven't won a championship since the 50s, the weather sucks, the team sucks continually. But they continue to support the team, buy tickets, hope, wear Browns gear all the time. They deserve better. No offense San Diegans, but the level of support the Browns fans give their team is several notches above that of San Diego. Heck, every time Cleveland plays in San Diego you will see a ton of their fans at the stadium.

It's kinda hilarious the biggest news about the Browns hiring a coach is comments from the daughter.
