Going to my first LA Chargers game vs. Cincy

I finally decided to take the plunge after not attending a game all year last season for the first time since I was out of state in 98. I had been to at least one game every year I am pretty sure since 91 before that and had season tickets in 96 and 97.

Damn its expensive, 2 seats and parking cost me $459 but if my girlfriend who has been having health issues for some reason can't go I may come on this forum last minute to see if someone wants to go with me and use her ticket.

I was wondering how many on here have gone to a game at stubhub and if there is any advice or a tailgate somewhere I could get invited to. I know some old timers used to do a P-3 tailgate at Qualcomm I went to a few times and met some posters and it was fun. One time I think I bought into a different tailgate someone on the forum recommended. My parking lot specifies no tailgating so I may just go straight into the stadium. Do we as a forum have any presence at home games anymore? Hoping its a good vibe at the game and I am excited to see my team in an intimate venue that is more modern than what I have been used to.

my brother, who is a Bengals fan, will also be there.

We've been to every Chargers/Bengals game since 2003 except the playoff game and one (in 2013 I think) that we couldn't afford to make the trip for.

Is there anywhere nearby worthwhile to tool around at and grab a few beers before the game?

Nothing really nearby. It's attached to a college campus but in the middle of nowhere LA. There are lots of tailgates. Be interesting to see how many bengals fans show without Dalton. Guessing they bought their tickets a while ago so expecting a 50/50 crowd.

So there is tailgating and just not in the lot that BlazingBolt is parking in then.

That's good then. If there are no semi-official tailgates like there were at the Q I can just do what I typically do in Cincinnati and bring my backpack full of beer and find some cool tailgates to crash and share a beer or two with.
