There used to be a legitimate reason for faxes, as I believe that signatures that are faxed are accepted in court, vs. scanned and sent via electronically through email. I think that requirement is no longer valid, but maybe the league and agents still communicate contracts via fax...remember the fiasco with Dumervil that ultimately led to Phillips being signed in Denver. Maybe Phillips is keeping it for his 'good luck'.
