Black Cloud and Silver Lining for running game tonight....

Black Cloud: is BOTH the most productive "Main" AND your talented 3rd down/change of pace/Complementary RB are out, with no proven replacement for Ekeler's role.

Silver Lining is: With Ekeler out, they can't switch him to main back in Gordon's role (for which he is not suited), and Wiz will be FORCED to start JJ now. You lose Ek's contributions as complimentary back either way, but at least JJ and Newsome are more equipped to provide the heavy duty carries in place of Gordon. Hopefully Wiz and Lynn can find creative ways to use the FB more and some 2 TE plays as well as find extra blocking with extra declared OL as needed, etc. Creative, but not too cute gets it done.....

What scares me most if both Gordon and Ekeler are out is relying on the young backs to pass block. About the only good thing about the Chiefs defense is their pass rush and we have to keep Rivers upright to have a chance.
