    The Browns are a Stainwreck.

The Browns promoted Ray Farmer to replace Michael Lombardi as the team's general manager and also announced that Joe Banner will be stepping down from his role as CEO over the next two months.

So, you fire your coach without a plan. No one wants the job. Even though the team was sort of set up to fail from the get go with a first year coach.

Then you hire a new coach, who was on no one's radar at the start of the off-season...but seems like a good coach.

Then you fire you GM, and executive...after you hired your head coach?

What is going on in Cleveland?
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

The Factory of Sadness. They have players that the Chargers should covet in need positions, but every other team in the league is probably thinking the same thing.

The league should force Haslam to sell the team. Its embarrassing.

Feel bad for the GM actually. I thought he did well last year trading back a few times and stockpiing picks for this years draft (which was considered the strongest in years). He also fleeced Indy for that 1st rounder. Not his fault the previous regime left a train wreck.

best move they've made in awhile. I've been following Browns boards out of morbid curiosity. Lombardi and Banner were radioactive. No one wanted to be associated with them, from coaches to players.

I thought it was more the ownership with Haslem likely facing federal prosecution one of these years.

That Lombardi hire seemed bad at the time.

I'm neither a huge fan nor a detractor, yet I don't get all of the "Lombardi was a bad hire" sentiment. What has he done to prove himself a terrible evaluator of talent? I'm not sure there is enough data to prove either way, actually. Yet, he appears to have more relevant experience than Farmer & a lot of these other young GMs being considered for jobs today.

There are so many reasons that people say they're "taking the Browns to the Super Bowl".

And then you have Browns fans who are like,

It's the circle of life imitating Art Modell.

It was brutal........didn't they get Josh Gordon for that 2nd rounder?// That at least stops it from being a total waste. Dumping Trent Richardson for a first rounder was also a good move.

I wish we'd gotten Gordon when he was dangling out there. Imagine him and KA on the outside for us. He's a head case--or has been--but unbelievably gifted.
