    Yes. Yes.
gusD is famous for finding and developing mid round LBs.
    Even with this in mind,
I do not share the optimism of several TPBers about the mid round LB population in this draft.
    We'll see.
We do not play modern football.

Same page. And at such a position of need, go big or go home. We can get DT help mid-round IMO, but the first round we should get a top talent, LB or DB for me.

The thing is a lot of low mid-, low- round draft picks, or UDFA have gone on to become decent LB in the NFL. It doesn't happen as much anymore, but it still does happen. At a lot of positions of need (and we at least need depth) go get them in numbers. The chance of hitting on any one of them is low, so just bring in enough that the chances of hitting improve.

The other thing is to add players who might be able to do more than just play LB. The OTTO position is really another opportunity to add guys who could be backup at other LB spot (like Emmanuel did), play ST, or even be rush LB/DE types (like Nwuso at OTTO and LEO last year).

I am knida a fan of Dakota Allen on the list above. He is a TTU guy, so I am not exactly impartial, but he does flash from time to time, both in coverage and run support.

really don't see how an LB @28 moves the needle much if not move us in the opposite direction, as not convinced any of those guys outside of (maybe) DW is an upgrade over Denzel, and....

chief problem against NE was that we couldn't set Joey 'n Mel free on the ends.... don't think an MLB changes that.... do think that the IDL can be upgraded and prove to be the difference.

the main diff between the Baltimore game and against NE, was personnel.... on the IDL and behind them.... we need IDL, preferably NTs.

and woulda, coulda, shoulda been nice to sign someone like Jon Bostic in FA.... what do you do w/Pullard and Emanuel ?? is there an upgrade out there, and @what cost ??

if you like Anthony Barr, can you justify spending that much money on a replacement, that will not be part of your 4-2-5 ??

and is Pullard that guy that can spell Denzel, or is there a better back up out there ?? Te'Von Coney or.... ??

beach, Tre Lamar is Do Not Draft now due to his 4.99 ProDay forty.

Kyle Phillips is a possible late round SAM/OTTO/PRS IMV,
in lieu of mid rounder Justin Hollins.

                        I would consider Blake Cashman @ 60.

Only 1 year starter/production does brother me. He looks good coming downhill but play reco, COD, and passing game route concepts are all major works in progress.
