Davis probably made it based on ST play. Important with guys like AP and Ekeler no longer on ST due to injuries or holdout.

Davis is also 6-2 and Scott is 5-10...Rivers like tall targets, though I thought Scott deserved a spot...

Maybe the only carry 5 WR because they need room for Peace, Lanier and Teamer...I wouldn't be surprised if Watt is cut also...

McCoy actually makes a lot of sense with the Gordon situation.

McCoy wasn't much last year for Buffalo. He has maybe declined too far. He does have a relationship with Anthony Lynn.

49er announcers really liked the Chargers running backs. Detrez Newsome might very well get poached.

I am not surprised Scott was cut. He might get resigned to the roster or PS after the first few days. NFL rules cause some churn initially and the 'real' roster doesn't shape up for a few days after cut down day. Also a lot of games being played. Back to Scott: to me he was just a guy. Not big. Not fast. No real ST value. When he played early in preseason games he could not get open or get separation. I think Patton is the better of the two prospects.

I really liked a couple of the 49ers RB! 41 is a good player.
