Unfortunately with the Chargers it wasn't just one unlucky year as it seems they are injured way more than the normal team every season. Somehow our luck or way they go about off-season training/conditioning needs to change.
1) Jason Verrett (CB) TCU
2) Demarcus Lawrence (OLB) Boise St
3) Will Sutton (DT) Arizona St
4) Jarvis Landry (WR) LSU
5) John Urschel (OC) Penn St
6) Shamar Stephen (DT) UConn
7) Brock Coyle (ILB) Montana

You wonder if more core and flexibility training would help more than lifting.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
The Wasted Decade is done.
Build Back Better.
Just read it on the UT that he injured his heel vs. the Giants and tore his plantar fascia a few weeks later?
IMO, those are both very tough injuries to play through, especially for a cornerback where footwork is crucial. We're finding there are some pretty tough guys on the roster.
Man, you have to wonder what we'll be like with all of our guys healthy.
I am still dealing with my plantar fasciitis after three years and I can tell you with confidence we had BETTER get a quality corner or two in this draft. This ailment can last or be re-aggravated very easily...especially when running! I would never run with what I currently have. Corner has become the HIGHEST
NEED position with that news right now. Like emergency in my mind. Hate to reach for anyone BUT...

I absolutely think it would. But I honestly have no idea what type of training the team does during organized activities nor what individuals do on their own in the off-season.

If Roby falls to us we have to pick him.
Why? Is he supposed to be durable? I don't like what I'm reading about what's between his ears (or in his heart). Durable or not.
Not a big fan of Roby. Too many red flags for me. I've said it before, you have to nail your first round picks. You have to get sure fire starters in the first. It's not a round where you should gamble IMO.

If it's down to him or Verrett I'd choose size and athleticism over tenacity. Verrett is probably more ready but he's so damn small. I'd be worried about Verrett getting hurt and we can't afford another injury-prone CB - that high IMO.
