At 335 lbs. Watts appears to have sufficient sand in his pants.

Bentley is supposedly very good at teaching young guys the important aspects of being a true professional as an OL. If he has been working with the guy, he should have a leg up on a lot of other rookie OL.

I duuno Mav, all these guys are the p word right now, potential. Can't help but think that we passed on a number of WRs is significant. One thing I've learned from watching Brown underperform, gotta translate that college play to the pros, and looking the part isn't in the same league as route running, understanding the playbook, and figuring out how to use those god given abilities to your - and the team's - advantage. Right now, i trust TT and the Chargers brain trust mire than me (right reserved to flip on that should they start fucking up, lol). I wanna see Watt flunk out and Moncrief flame on before I bemoan that "lose." That said, boy am I in your corner about the need for a quality starting WR opposite Allen. IMO it cost us games last year, really hope someone steps up.

The other thing that has been pointed out is that this offseason is going to be very heavy with WR, and we will have some money. Plus, with as deep as the WR were, I am not sure that the guys we got as UDFA wouldn't have been mid round picks in some other season. A couple of them have speed/quickness you don't usually see in 7th round/UDFA types.

He also played some center and can snap with both hands. He seems a little big to be a center but that versatility can't hurt. Bentley thinks he can even be a swing tackle.

"Watts" not to like? Seems very athletic to my untrained eye, and he can pull! We just have to see if he can translate to a much higher level of competition. I can understand that he wasn't a priority UDFA since he went to a small school, but that youtube was pretty impressive.
