Who do you guys like in the '98 Draft... Leaf or Manning?

Manning is the better QB now, and we'll always be decent with him. But his ceiling isn't as high, so I don't see him as the one to get us over the hump.

Leaf, on the other hand, he might struggle a bit at first, but you just know he has winner written all over him. With that arm, that fire, the intangibles, he could be the one to lead us to the promised land. Draft him! We'll be talking Super Bowl in 2-3 years, while whoever takes Manning will have a decent game manager who always keeps them in contention for a Wild Card but not much better.

This will somehow lead us to Norv Turner, who will lead us to victories over Peyton Manning, whom, if we draft now, we will never be able to defeat in the post season. Anyway, bringing in Norv will make everybody sick and force us to rebuild our team, which may some day lead us somewhere.

I remember... when the Chargers had only a second round pick and then some in the 7th and later rounds. I was watching on ESPN. Then they traded the second rounder for Tim Fox. So their first pick was in the 7th round! They did select Maury Buford in that draft who punted for them a few years.
