So apparently the guys on the Chargers like to play softball. But they like to do it in secret. Or something.

And Bolts From the Blue, SB Nation's excellent Chargers blog, has the details in an email from a reader:

My niece went to watch her boyfriend play softball last night, somewhere in RB or Poway. They showed up to play and quickly realize they're playing a team full of Chargers.

The pictures are horrible, but you can see that Weddle is playing third and Rivers at short. Rivers is wearing a dark mullet wig, if you can believe that. I think that's Woodhead's real hair though (at the plate).

But the crown jewel of this whole story is unquestionably Rivers strutting up to home plate with the wig, I believe, pulled back into a ponytail.


Philip Rivers is probably the most Little League baseball coach NFL player ever.
