true, but when are our LBers going to learn how to tackle??? when is that magically going to happen?? missed kicks can be fixed ...... ekeler is not likely to fumble many more times ....Rivers won't make those mistakes again..... but taking the correct angles and tackling is something that is even worse this year than last when we were the worst at it.....

To lose to this Detroit Lions team the way we choked it away is square on this terrible coaching staff .Team stunk sure they stunk it up last week but to have this team continue with these coaches is the death nail even before the season started .We are a poorly coached team a poorly managed team and there is just no way you can overcome this fact with subpar players to boot .Trade Gordon fire Whiz .

Nonsense. There was spotty tackling at times but they scored 13 points - I would guess we won't score less than 13 points in any game the rest of the year.

This game was at least 80% on the offense. Seriously. We can dissect Rivers vs Ekeler but who cares at this point? It's just an awful loss, but we do it so well.

Yeah you said he can't make the throws, why does he have so many wins with the pathetic team he has to play with ? Brady has thrown us 3 picks for us to seal wins from them and we've dropped each one, so they do make the same passes it just ends up differently results when we play because this team doesn't know how to be a winner and that starts and ends with the top !

We can't have it both ways with Rivers.

He can get a pass for a throw like that if he's a game manager...but if he's trying to win a chip he simply cant make those throws. Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers don't make that mistake there.

That drive was kind of a microcosm of his career...great play to get us in position to win, then some questionable decision making when it counts the most.

Please don't take this as a major knock on Rivers or me blaming him for this loss. But its probably why he'll finish his career with great numbers but no rings. At least not with the Chargers. I would love to be wrong but we've been repeating the same thing every year for the last 10-12 years.

I'll give you Brady, Mahomes is too early to know, Rodgers gets slobbered on for being a top 2 or 3 qb and he just isn't and never was, Rodgers is good but more in the realm of Big Ben very overrated like Russell Wilson is slobbered on as well, Brees is the underrated QB never mentioned.

All of the QBs you named have thrown game-losing INTs. Rivers also has a lot of game winning throws/drives, including just last week. Winning rings takes a complete organization...something we have not had with the Chargers since I've been a fan. Super Bowl teams don't habitually miss kicks, muff punts, drop passes, give up huge plays on defense, etc.

Not only was MW wide open so was Virgil Green to possibly get a first down or at least easier field goal.
