Surprised that the Bolts are favored.
The line will move just like it did against Detroit. Money won't bet on this team.

Giving away close games hasn't been a Chargers trademark with Lynn. 3 pts at home is just a nod to Chargers superior overall talent, not how they've been playing.

ps: Rivers last int at Det was a product of 0 for 2 on FGs.

the last pick in DET was about either the coach or Rivers deciding ahead of time to throw up a deep ball to Allen against their best DB(just like all game long), no matter what...... not looking over field to see that Williams was wide open over middle foe an easy walk in TD.......

even if we had made a FG to tie the game, we would have either lost game in final minute or would have had to pray to win the toss....

horrible game plan to attack the other teams best player all game long instead of their weak spots???---that is on the coaches...
The last 3 game plans vs NE, INDY, and DET have been exactly the opposite of what any smart coach with common sense would have done...... on offense and defense......

Name any coach in NFL that chooses to give the other team what they do best? or attacks their best player instead of attacking their weakness????...... no one except chargers coaches do that...... but why????? its like they watch lesss film than fans???

See Steve's comment about Williams - he wasn't open until after the ball was thrown. Slay had his back to Rivers when the pass was thrown and turned around in time to make a great play. It was not a great decision, but plenty of QBs attempt passes when the defenders have their back turned.

Rivers threw a similar pass to Allen into tight coverage the week before against Indy for a TD.

That's trademark Wiz. The dude plays it cute and outsmarts himself all the time.

I have not been a fan of Whiz since his terrible gameplan against the Broncos in that playoff game during the 2013 season. He's just too rigid and unimaginative.

Is there even enough time to hire a new OC and get proficient with a new system next year with a 38-39 year old QB?

It's things like this that is why you see a lot of upset fans around these parts even after one loss. It's not about overreacting, it's about the Chargers showing zero urgency in trying to get Rivers a ring.

Yeah, I mean I was going nuts on 3rd and 2 when Rivers was in a shotgun and empty backfield. Just a terrible playcall. Run the ball twice and pick up the first.

They crazy part about the game was the oline played decent. There was one play I can remember when Scott & Tevi met at Rivers because they got manhandled so bad. Other then that play I thought they played decent. They showed a graphic the Chargers were 9-2 when rushing for 100 yards with AL/ I was pissed they didn't run the ball there with Jackson

Go get Jalen Ramsey and it's a actual 5 point spread .

Going to different threads to say the same thing is redundant. And I'll say it again. Home teams always get 3 points 99% of the time the line opens.
