Marshall is now a safety. Queuel! We once had a sheriff for a safety, why not a marshall.

Seems like the Chargers like to have CB-type safeties now a days. Weddle was a college CB/hybrid, so was Gilchrist, they made Marshall one. I guess it makes sense in today's NFL? Marshall might be good safety, you know.

All the safeties prior to Gilchrist were worse. (Not to say Gilchrist was much better). Addae brought a glimmer of hope.

Aside from Weddle, it's crazy how this team can't seem to find a good safety since Rodney left.

I'm not sure why they are so high on Williams. He really didn't look good in 49ers game, but I hope he reaches his potential. Chris Davis, on the other hand, has had pretty good preseason, and I like him better. I think Chargers should go deeper with number of DBs, considering our rival, and how they had trouble fielding 4 DBs at end of Denver playoff game.

I thought Williams was struggling vs SF as well. And I like what I've seen from Davis.

But all we see is limited action in preseason games against and with many guys who won't be playing. So what I'm saying is... we don't know jack.

Marshall had a tough year last year, but he was certainly better than Cox. And he was a pretty solid tackler. I'm not sure this defense has the luxury of giving up on that skill.

I have to assume, though, that you are trying to spell 'queue', which means 'line' if you mean it as a noun or 'to line up' if you mean it as a verb.

However, I suspect what you really intended, though, was to signal Beerman, or indicate that he is due for an appearance, in which case the word you wanted was 'cue'.
