Now Trey Harris can say .....Higgins got his 100% guaranteed? I want mine 100% guaranteed or I'm not reporting to TC. It will only snowball from here.

They can't stick together to save themselves.
Now, some of the other 2nd rounders are already reportedly asking for fully guaranteed deals thanks to the Texans...

I think the concern is a tad overblown, but maybe you’ll be right. Rd2 picks are expected to be starters. R5,6,7 are lucky to be invited.

The amounts in the pay scale were the more important part - guys aren’t negotiating amounts anymore and that was the bigger holdup. nobody would sign until others around them signed so the could see or negotiate their slot value. Now its just fine details on terms, its much better.

Ellison was unusual in that he didn't have that many football games left in his body. Star player at SC who dropped due to pour 40 time, and injury history.
Great instincts ... he ended up starting his rookie season and helped the Bolts to their last AFC west championship.

I think he was already deeply into the pain killer routine at the time. Lasted basically one season in his NFL career.

True, .... but what was that half time score again in Staley's last game with the Chargers?

Parts and players were probably mailing it in for some time, but the whole team was in sync that night..

Now we may see holdouts in the future. Owners ask for draft pick slotted pay and they just can't stick to it. I mean he gets his slotted pay but now it's 100% guaranteed.

Just can't feel sorry for these owners when a WR wants 30 mil and QBs like Dak get 60 mil
