I think they tried. The were interested in Chad Henne I just read but Henne chose to stay retired (smart). They wanted to sign Rams PS QB Brett Rypien but the Rams signed him to the roster to thwart that.

I'd like to think everyone sees what happens to a club when a clueless owner decides to force a player - he likes - onto the roster, he owns. Leon Hess was awful, but he didn't do things like Woody Johnson is doing.

The Falcons have signed Storm Norton to their roster off the Saints' practice squad.

The Ravens have signed Kyle Van Noy to their practice squad.

They have an elite defense and if it goes to waste another year and the best they could do is Siemian some players might start acting out.

I think the best they could possibly do is a trade for Cousins whose contract expires at the end of the season while Minny is 0-3. Won't be cheap but would probably be enough to give them a legit chance.

Other than that they could go with Ryan or Wentz and neither of them are great options at this point.
Thats not possible. Saleh is one of the greatest young coaches to appear on the league in decades. I've read it here many times how if only we hired Saleh, then ... whatever it was, it was really good.
We also should have hired Daboll. another can't miss supercoach. damn you, Dean!

I doubt the MIN front office is ready to fold up on 2023 yet. They aren't Charger Fans.

Saleh is a good coach, his specialty is defense. The Jets had the worst ranked defense a couple years ago, now they are an elite unit. His coaching influence is clear on that unit.

Their organization went all in for Aaron Rodgers because they have an elite defense and some pieces on offense. He got hurt, and now they are dealing with a bust at Qb and trying to navigate it.

It would be similar to blaming the HC if Herbert was knocked out for the entire season and then wondering why Easton Stick isn't carrying the load and being dumb enough to blame the HC for all of that.

Also, what Daboll did with a piss poor roster with the Giants last season with what was considered a bust at Qb was impressive.

Very different situations to walk into than having a ton of cap space and a 2nd year franchise Qb coming off the best rookie season the league has seen since 1983 and then riding the coattails of that Qb while coaching a terrible defense even with tons of cap space to pick players with.

Dang, that's a savvy move by them.

They have two edge players nicked up in Ojabe/Oweh so KVN might not be on PS for long.

there are no excuses in Coach World here at TPB, you're in the wrong forum. I'm not impressed with either of them yet. Saleh has a 12-25 record. Daboll is 10-9-1. big fucking deal.

you've never seen this Charger roster win more games with a different coach, we can play a lot of what-if games but i'll just stick to the facts we know are fact. Staley is 1-2 so far this year, thats not good enough for me, he better go win more games.

Like this week - fuck the raiders!
