Here are the rookie highlights for Michael Carter, from 2021. He was the 5th RB taken, in the draft, in the 4th round. He can also catch passes out of the backfield, screens and wheel routes. So Ekeler wouldn't be the only RB they use for that. (They never throw to Kelley.) Hopefully they put a waiver claim in for him. It would be ridiculous not to. Against Detroit both Spiller and Dotson were inactive, both are pretty much useless. Why wouldn't they add an RB who can run through the tackles and gain positive yardage and catch?

The Chargers have to replace Chris Rumph (How do you suffer a season-ending injury in pregame warmups?) and the Raiders just released former Charger Issac Rochell. Give Rochelle a looksee, or bring up Andrew Farmer or Brevin Allen from the PS?
