PITTSBURGH -- With nearly three-and-a-half seasons of experience playing with offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood at Alabama, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has an inside track on the scouting report of the Las Vegas Raiders' first round pick.

But asked if he has any tips for Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt, slated to go against Leatherwood on Sunday, Harris demurred.

"S---," he said Friday. "Good luck, I guess."

Harris, the Steelers' rookie running back, player behind the Raiders' rookie tackle at Alabama. They won the SEC and a national title together. Watt, the NFL's highest-paid defender, might not need the pointers.

We should only be so fortunate.

Plus Quenton Nelson vs Aaron Donald.
We do not play modern football.

Don’t crown him yet. Who knows how well he will hold up.

he’s better than Pip. That’s my universal metric for OTs now. I may start applying that gage to all positions, it is that useful

Yep...and what's worse is Clary was a late rounder, so he performed about as expected, better at G than tackle...Pip was a 3rd rounder...

That was our M.O for years.... acquire fading left tackles.
It paid off the first two years and left us hanging the two years after that.

Glad to get off of that roller coaster.

                    Clary had a work ethic.
Uncle Jeromey was good for Fluke.
Gutted it out in AFCWG @ CIN

                    Teammates loved him.

Pip is getting dangerously close to JaredG territory.
But I get what you are saying.
                    Knives are out.

There is no comparison between Pipkins and Clary.

Clary developed into a pretty solid right tackle at the end of the day.
