They used to line him up at H back, remember that? He made a few nice plays from that position in 2021. Here is one of them, but he had some others that turned into big gainers because he'd sneak out undetected and be wide open.

Here are the rookie highlights for Michael Carter, from 2021. He was the 5th RB taken, in the draft, in the 4th round. He can also catch passes out of the backfield, screens and wheel routes. So Ekeler wouldn't be the only RB they use for that. (They never throw to Kelley.) Hopefully they put a waiver claim in for him. It would be ridiculous not to. Against Detroit both Spiller and Dotson were inactive, both are pretty much useless. Why wouldn't they add an RB who can run through the tackles and gain positive yardage and catch?

He looks great. So... Why are the Jets dumping him? Who'd he piss off?

You KNOW they want to avoid attitude problems and prima donnas after the J.C. Jackson experience.

Anderson really reminds me of a smaller version of Everett. I was sad to see him leave when he did. Glad he is back. He can do a lot just not great at any thing.

He should be done. Like you I don;t know his ST value acause you can't see his position on TV but I know he plays all the teams. But just not a viable player on the edge.
