first the taunt, then he tries to do too much and costs his team with the fumble, then he injures his hand on the sideline throwing a tantrum and ends up being used as decoy for the remainder of the game...I feel bad for the kid, that's about as nightmarish of a finish to a football game as one player can have...

IMO, Jacques Cesaire was never more than the 49th guy on a 53 man roster.

I admire his carving out a 9 year NFL career from his limited talent, but what he was, was useful depth.

yup. rotational sub most of his career, sometimes pressed into starting due to woeful DL depth and talent on the team. He is not a building block we lack, thats what we currently have are a collection of Cesaires, what we need is a dominating DT (or two, dare we dream?)

a lot of teams have done really well with one, the rams, the chiefs, the steelers, etc...it would be a god send for guys like Tuli or Mack if he stays in powder blue...

Lotsa bulletin board material for Pierce and the Raiders. Almost no one cares about him or Telesco. It's all Chargers and Harbaugh, all the time. They add Hortiz after Minter and Herbert and it just gets worse. So a lot of "ain't nobody talking about the RAIIIIDDDDDuhhhhhhhs" and such. Can't wait for the Chargers to face them. It will take a while for Minter's defense to click but it will immediately be a big step up from teh Staley show.

True. I can't recall a player having a ball bounce off his hands and then taunt the defender.
