As for Simmons - I think a player that actually plays and not whatever Bosa does - might have more trade value. Joey Bosa as a great player is a fallacy based on his name, contract and draft status,. He is overrated and overpaid - what value do you think that has?

As for why I was- in the above post - categorizing Bosa as a June 1 - it was to keep Mack and sign Wilkins. In that one scenario. Yet if presented with another scenarior - I might take the cap space to get the pick

But remains to be seen - you said Bosa would get a 2nd round pick. I don't think it will happen.

Lastly signing players mid year - if they might be better than whats on the roster and they are the veteran minimum, why not.
I don't think Isabella was any help and some others. Don't think we will have a problem with Hortiz picking up somebody we might need if a good one comes available

As for Bosa, 2nd,3rd 4th.....better than nothing. Not sure which one we would trade but both drawing interest.

I've seen other fans wanting Keenan , Mack and Bosa on their teams. Even MW. All cuts in your eyes.

We'll see how it goes. I saw Fleet make a post on Twitter on how to keep them all.

ask JK Scott to waive his roster bonus and if he makes the team in September - he gets it, other c-ya (truly, he wasn't that good)
Extend Allen with a contract similar to what Mike Evans signed for saving $16m on his cap
      Release MW
Release Bosa with a June 1 to maximize cap this year
Linsley retires with a June 1

Chargers could keep Mack on his contract and not touch it at all

Chargers could be a player for Wilkins and still would have Mack this year and if he balls out in 2024 -- sign him next year, if not FA next year (unless some team really overpays with a pick)

Now - doing the above - I think the team would have somewhere between 20 and 25m in free agency after paying draft picks, In season IR fund, etc

Wilkins - $10m added to the cap
      Center - $4m
      TE - $3m
      RB - $3m
      QB - $2m

The rest would be minimum level players - thats the best I have for you Dmac - Deal or No Deal??!!
If not Wilkins - there are probably veteran DTs that you can get for cheaper and still keep Mack without touching his contract
I like it but would probably trade out TE, RB, and QB with S and CB. I think they would get better value with your 3 in the draft. If they could add a FA S, CB, and TE I would be good with that as well.
      1- #11 Bowers TE 7a- #225 Boyd DT
      2a- #35 Cooper LB 7b- #253 Vidal RB
      2b- #37 Jenkins DT
      3a- #66 Puni OT
      3b- #69 Sainristill CB
      4a- #105 Rice WR
      4b- #110 Lloyd RB
      5- #140 Green CB
      6- #181 Nourzad C/OG

Nobody has any value to you on our team but you sure want to sign every guy that gets cut from other teams during the season.

Mack is drawing a lot of interest and you wanted to release him too.

I also wouldn't call the Broncos GM the sharpest knife in the drawer
        Or the Raider’s GM.

You go dude. The bad part is he is a Harbaugh guy and he’s not here.

Mack and Bosa both departing: ain't going to happen.

That's still less than the contract Telesco/Staley/Chargers claimed to have offered him.

I call bullshit to Tranquil ever getting anything concrete from them.

And then they immediately run out and offer 10 million + for Kendrix .

Can we fire those fools again?

Staley on the 49ers will make me root even harder against them next year.

Good for him. Solid deal, not too expensive but that's real $$ for Drue. They don't depend on him with Bolton but he does a great job with his role

All the 49ers fans I know were rooting for me/us/Chargers to get Harbaugh. So when he finally donned the lightening bolt they were ecstatic. What did I give in return?....LOL

                          There's high levels of coaching.

Then there's...yeah a different level of coaching
