Let's trade for Trent Williams and Alex Smith, a future 3rd and a 7th.

A 7th rounder for a veteran qb we'd be closer to 12-4 with him than a rookie or Tyrod imo.

I'm wondering about his health since there hasn't been much talk around him this offseason. I'd be interested if his medicals came back clean. He's a hell of a lot better than Tyrod., However, no thanks on Williams, let someone else overpay him.

If you had told me a week ago about Williams - for the right price, probably would have been all for it. But I think the prudent thing to do might be to see if , dare I say it, see if Peters would take a decent deal, kind of a bridge for Trey Pip - and go from there .. Williams will cost both draft picks AND cap space. Thats a lot.

I say let Pipkens take the LT spot...see if he has what it takes. A great prospect falls in your lap come draft day, maybe pull the trigger...otherwise, let it ride. We aren't winning shit with tyrod, rookie will sit a year anyway. Tyrod can mitigate his growing pains with his mobility.
          Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

A 7th rounder, a bag of chips, and make Wash eat half of his guarantees, saves them half and us half, for a proven qb who is mobile and doesn't make a lot of mistakes

Whoever our QB and RB are, they find playing behind this OL is much better. The right side is obviously strong now. However we still have questions at C, LG, and LOT.

Once again we are hoping that Lamp turns out to be all we expected him to be when we drafted him.. Can he stay healthy and play well? If not, perhaps Tevi can fill that spot.

My biggest concern is Pipkins. Is he ready?

I'd still love it if they use that #6 pick on a OT. But I know longer think it's as necessary as I did a few days ago.

We went from a dearth of talent to replacing our right side with two proven starters. That is serious Oline building !

Let's see what the news is on Pouncey and go from there. Snaps are getting tight.

We might get a 10 year starter at OLT @ #6 ! Finally. I cannot believe it.

Really don't get the Alex Smith love. Does anybody not get that his broken leg was very bad and he almost lost it to infection?
I'd be shocked if he came back at all. Not to mention he signed a pretty pricey contract w/ Washington for being 35.

I fully expect them to take a QB at 6 now since they are no longer pursuing signing or trading for a veteran QB after missing out on Brady.

If Pouncey is healthy again, we'll really have a strong OL. Won't that be something? I'll have to quit ragging on TT about the OL.

                          Could be.
The snaps last year plus a growth spurt and here comes Pipkens.
