And it looks like Spanos can't even get a guy who reportedly wanted to move to LA - the high of incompetence, only to be topped when we trade for Newton, a guy who I don't want at all but will be cut if he isn't traded.

Panic Mode for Chargers

to me panic mode would be
1) if Brady picks Tampa signing or trading for Cam
2) paying Brady like 35m per year just to get him

Smart move was made by signing Bulaga; now go get Pierce at NT (or even Linval J though that goes against signing players over 30 or too many of them); maybe bring in Trufant at CB - or Chris Harris. Bolster your defense so that come draft time, you can take Herbert at 6 and have your QB to sit behind Taylor. Or at 6 you might get Simmons and still get QB later. I want Telesco to do enough in FA to allow for truly BPA

Can you imagine if you get Joseph and Trufant added to the defense and still add Simmons. Now you have a very good defense.
