If anybody cares, a company located in my neck of the woods (Boise, ID) might have leaked the new name for the Washington Football team: The Washington Commanders.

News seems to link that name due to an internet domain ownership change, good detective work, I guess. I think they will salvage something out of their old identity, maybe like the color red (burgundy).. How about the Red Whiners?

Commanders, besides just being a really douchey name, sounds like hes’ adopting white patriarchal, heteronormative cisgender examples of systemic discrimination and inequity as his namesake. He’s going to piss off a new consortium with that

They could go with a slight change to what they have now. Instead of being Washington Football Team (WFT) they could be the Washington Team of Football or (WTF).

It will be interesting to see how he works out for the Gnats. I was one of those wanting him here, but am happy with the route taken.

Daboll interviewed with the Giants, Bears and Dolphins. I have a feeling he had to settle with the Giants. Tough job, having to deal with the NY media, as well not having as good of a QB as Josh Allen. I'm glad he didn't land on the Raiders or Broncos though.

I imagine the Dolphins were not very appealing with Tua and the team that hates him. I pity the coach that goes to that meat grinder.

I think Daboll to NYG makes sense
Jones has potential and is still young
Big fast guy who can execute those designed runs
Destitute version of Allen, but I think he will be fine
It's the rest of the roster thats a dump and prove to be Daboll's biggest challenge

would have been the resurgence of the "Hoggettes"
this time as their official team name
Brings back memories of a time they weren't among the sleaziest franchises and damn good actually
Playful name and I wouldn't expect much pushback from either pigs nor feminists
