Uhhhh the 49ers re-signed Williams, and you don't give up 3 first rounders for anything but a QB.

I don't think you give up multiple first round picks for Sewell - they are going for a QB and must like three of them enough to be okay with whomever is there. Most likely after Lawrence and Wilson

SF has a good team except at the most important position, QB. They probably feel that both Wilson or Fields will be good pros for them, so they dealt away futures to try and get that missing piece.

Though a LT is a position of need - its not like QB. A LT cannot dictate the game like a QB can.

that would be stupid to give up to get Sewell what the 49ers gave up to get a QB - it hasn't worked for the Texans to give up that much draft capital for a LT
The Chargers don't need Penei Sewell - just a good solid NFL Left Tackle . Which with proper scouting and coaching - they should be able to get at 13

We are so lucky to have #10 at QB. And we did not have to give up huge draft capital like SF just did. Now fix the OL for once...
