You can bet your ass if they still had prime Brees his heart would still be in it.
Won't be surprised if he is the new Cowboys coach either next week or next year.
And WHO is Crab Legs? Thought I was familiar with all the nicknames...

Jameis Winston from his days at FSU
Edit: He is a FA so Siemian would be the one to resign.

Of course, Just read Bradley Robeys dead money is less than a mil. So he is one guy about to turn 30 they should move on from who we should be potentially interested in.

My guy to trade from the Saints is Onyemata. Granted, he would be after SebJoseph Day and BJ Hill in the pecking order of IDL candidates.

Robey has a salary of $9m - he might just be waived as not sure who is trading for that contract

I don’t see the Saints tanking, if Jameis hadn’t torn his ACL they definitely would have made the playoffs and might have won a game or two. Their defense has some very good young players and Michael Thomas should be back, they could win that division if they’re able to keep the core relatively intact.

They are $74 million over the cap next year - they are clearly going to be losing some players.

Crypto crash hurts athletes like OBJ, who converted NFL pay to Bitcoin

Posted by Mike Florio on January 26, 2022, 7:37 PM EST

Via Sports Business Daily, which cited CNBC’s TechCheck, Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. recently saw his salary from his latest team cut in half by the recent price plummet for Bitcoin.

Darren Rovell recently crunched the numbers. Although Beckham (in an obvious effort to promote the currency so that more people will buy it and thus drive up the price) claimed that he is taking his pay in Bitcoin, the reality is that he’s simply buying Bitcoin with his after-tax net earnings. Taking into account taxes and the dip in Bitcoin price, Rovell says that OBJ has earned a mere $35,400 in salary from the Rams, despite a much-publicized $750,000 payday.

So the Giants, Bears and Vikings hired GMs but so far only Leftwich to the Jags as a HC. Lots of openings still out there. Teams must like the assts on the Rams, 9ers, Bengals and chiefs?

They already lost their head coach over this? Kind of reminds me of Staley on defense last season trying to make skyscrapers out of Mud Bricks.

There are only so many players on the Saints that one would want to create cap space for to push down the road. Players like Lattimore, Ramcyzk or Kamara, have a future with the team

Cam Jordan is not getting younger; some of the other players, Davis and Jenkins, you are pushing out cap space but they aren't going to be worth it - so eventually you have to bite the bullet. Saints should really try to do everything they can to dump as much as possible. Cam Jordan traded - post June 1; release Roby, Jenkins, Davis, Onyemata (Telesco should call and offer a 6th round pick for him if he fits the scheme) - and just take your lumps.

Broncos found their next HC in GB’s Hackett to fix their O woes. Hopefully he fails miserably
