My point was that there are plenty of Charger "Thug" fans out there too and If the Chargers win a couple of super bowls a whole new generation of LA crips will be rocking blue bolt gear, you never know, there might come a time when raider fans are "afraid" to go to Charger games at So-Fi...I'm not sure that's a good thing but things change over time, the Raiders didn't always have a huge fan base in SoCal, at least not when I was a kid, it wasn't until they moved to LA...Their not even in Cali anymore and some folks are loyal to the soil...

Idunno about all of these Charger thugs, I’ll take their word. All I know is the only stabbings I ever heard of at a football game were Raider fans stabbing Charger fans. There were several and it was 100% raider fans. When they played in SD, they used to double or triple police presence on Raider week - that was for a reason. The thugs don’t represent all raider fans, obviously. But the LA thug market was theirs while they were around. Future - idunno about these “Mexican gangsters” - that just sounds racist lol
without getting too far off topic, I'm trying to figure out why you thought it was racist, is it because "white" was used as a contrast minus any national designation?...saying Mexican gangster to me is no different than saying Irish gangster, Italian gangster, Polish gangster, Korean gangster, Samoan gangster or pretty much any other designation that notes that group's national heritage combined with the word gangster, granted if those guys are born here in the states, then in that case, they're all "technically" 'American' gangsters at that point...That being said, when the word 'white' gets thrown out there that could be seen as opening up a can of worms, what we've come to regard as whites as a race in this country are actually a very diverse group of peoples that can come from many different cultures, nations, languages, including many of Mexican national heritage whose ancestors hailed from all over Europe much like the melting pot we've had here...there are ethnic Irish, German, Polish, Italian all kinds of folks with Mexican national heritage...when I was younger I vacationed in Baja a lot because it was still cheap at that time, I was SHOCKED to learn that there were entire communities in Baja and other places along the border that were ethnically Chinese, their ancestors were brought in from China to work on the railroads and many of them shipwrecked south of the border creating communities in Mexico where many still cook traditional Chinese food and speak dialects passed down from generation to generation from that era 150-60 plus years in the past...sorry for the long rant, I've always been fascinated by all that type of stuff...

there has been a long-standing Chargers fandom among specifically Mexican Gangsters in San Diego since approximately the Seau era until they relocated.
I'm not a sociologist but I also don't talk about things I don't know personally to be true.
They are my friends and they are my family, a lot of them are good people and some are not but there is/was a strong adoption of the chargers brand into legitimate Mexican gangs (generational gangs) so when someone refers to a "thug element" of Chargers fans, I completely understand and agree.
I also work professionally with these old thug Charger fans and the stories are similar, they would look forward to going to raider games specifically to get drunk and fighting raider fans as an extension of their feud with rival gangs.
In fact, this population is a huge part of the fans that dropped the Chargers after the relocation in large part BECAUSE of their values of "turf over team"
"loyal to the soil" mantra speaks to these guys (mostly guys).
Many of these guys were truly torn at another level than many of us don't comprehend. To them, San Diego comes FIRST because they feel this is their ancestral home. As much as they loved the chargers brand, many can't see it anything less than a betrayal of their heritage.
Nothing racist about knowing and understanding this part of Chargers fan culture.

I was at the Rosarito pier south of San Diego in Mexico and all of sudden I was completely shocked when a very pretty Blond haired blue eyed girl broke out speaking fluid spanish like that's all she knew how to speak. I think there is also a large dutch/german community somewhere in the interior that deals with farming or such in Mexico.

I'm worried Telesco might be helping the Raiders more than previous GM's.

Not sure I’ve ever see as many charger thugs as the raider thugs of yore but eh. I don’t want to see a day where any opposing fan is physically afraid to go to a bolt game - thats taking shit way too far and losing all perspective of humanity. You don’t harm people over team affiliation, call me old school lol.

Way back in the late 90s, when I lived in England, I popped over to Dublin for a long weekend trip. Little did I know it was the weekend of their Irish Football championship. And while there were minor brawls in the street falling out of pubs and bars, these were just normal drunks bumping into each other and looking at my girl variety of brawls. in general the two team’s competing fans were good spirited to each other - they sang their fight songs at each other,, loudly … almost like .,,

Now, does Bolt Nation have what it takes to win a dance off vs the LVR Fanatics?

When I lived in MI, I briefly dated a Mexican gal from Mexico City. Blue eyed blonde and very hot - Her dad’s family was German, mom’s= Spanish. European background is dominant in the upper class in the capital. Not as much in Baja but some for sure.
