I think it's important to point out, Detroit ownership fired a coach and GM with a 4-7 record.

The Chargers are 3-7.

Detroit have now joined Atlanta and Houston in firing both HC & GM during football season.

Many are assuming the Jets will fire coach Adam Gase, but not G.M. Joe Douglas. Others include Jaguars coach Doug Marrone and G.M. Dave Caldwell, Chargers coach Anthony Lynn, Broncos coach Vic Fangio, and Bears coach Matt Nagy and G.M. Ryan Pace.

Black Monday is only 37 days away.


If Vic Fangio is let go in Denver, I really want him as the defensive coordinator in L.A. I think he would be a superb coach to pair with new HC Dave Toub.

still like Shaw, but gotta believe that Toub is the safer bet, as Shaw is coming off a 4-8 season and is 1-2 (just beat Cal by a point on the "road"), and is losing ground/traction in the Pac 12 recruiting battles, and.... not sure what John Spanos saw in Lynn that he didn't in Toub (perhaps 'tis obvious, dunno....), but wondering how TT felt about Toub ??

dude will take care of any and all of our ST woes (just like Lynn did w/our running game, right....), and if he can bring in Kafka as his OC from KC, that should be a plus, and all he's gotta do is nail down his DC, which by all accounts would not be Gus.

Shaw may still be the better coach/get, but Toub sure does make alotta sense in some respects.

They must want Harbaugh or have somebody in mind. They fired Jim Caldwell for Matt Patricia. Quinn wasn't the best GM either.

I am not sure where Patricia will land - maybe LB coach with the Titans or the Texans.

Apparently there are some pretty strong rumors floating around that the NFL plans to cancel week 12 game (except for the two played on Thurs obviously) and possibly move them to week 17 or push the season back a week and have a week 18. The NFL denies it, but they have ordered all facilities to close Mon & Tues. The Broncos are going into their game against the Saints. Jeff Driskel has tested positive and all the other QBs were in close contact with him without wearing masks. Reportedly, RB Royce Freeman is going to QB the Broncos tomorrow.

Bears fans want Matt Nagy fired and replaced with Dave Toub because of the special teams that Coach Toub brought to the Bears: Devin Hester & Robbie Gould. That Bears team made it to the Super Bowl. The special teams were so good, they want HIM back as head coach. My stars.....
