Rex Ryan says no one is afraid to play the Chiefs this year. Still, KC makes the gotta have it plays more often than not. That’s why they’re 12-5.

No one is afraid because they aren’t that good. Chargers beat them once and fairly should have beat them last time except for a few freak mistakes all falling their way and not tackling Kelce at the end.

I remember a modestly good but not great Chargers squad winning every “gotta have a play” game one year, was it Lynn, and then getting curb stomped by reality in the playoffs. Our one SB year was one of those “gotta have plays” team years where it all fell our way - that team was not really that good.

Teams like KC can win because they are not bad, but only if luck holds. No fear here.

I sure do - pass knocked at the goal line - can’t remember that LB’s name but he was far from great. Boss Ross got so much more out of that squad than could be expected, it was a remarkable coaching result. They weren’t that good, and we knew if we were honest. That Steeler team wasn’t that good either though.

The 49ers - yeah, they were. Talk about a curb stomp in the SB … ouch.

Unable to match wins with his unquestioned work ethic and football expertise, Broncos coach Vic Fangio was fired Sunday morning in a meeting with president/CEO Joe Ellis and general manager George …

Plenty of time to implement his system by tonight.

Staley needs to hire Fangio and let Renaldo Hill go. Fangio should be calling our defensive plays and employs the same scheme Staley does with two high safety looks.
