He gets $8M this year, I don’t know the rules about trying to cut a football-injured player. $5.5M was guaranteed. next year is an option year $9.5M if they bring him back. Gotta expect he’ll try - whats he ever going to do that pays $9M/year. Unlikely they don’t just release him given his history, then who would sign him and for what if he clears yet another medical?
