It also adds another highly qualified coach to the candidate pool. Would you be ok with Pete as LAC HC? I would be.

I don't think that is the perception around the league. Just about every pundit I hear talking about Telesco praises him on personnel; he missed on HC hires and that's why he's out. Telesco did draft Keenan Allen, Joey Bosa, Derwin James, Justin Herbert and Rashawn Slater. He had good success drafting 1st round players. His 2nd and 3rd day picks were underwhelming, and some of his FA pickups were disasters. But some teams can't even get their 1st round picks right, so Telesco will probably not have too much trouble landing a GM gig elsewhere just based on his 1st round success alone.

What is attractive about Seattle besides money? They have two average QBs are not drafting high enough to get a good one in this draft (unless they sell the store and trade up maybe). The Chargers have Justin Herbert. Harbaugh has been heard to say he wants to coach Herbert. Trust the process.

I agree. I personally think there is a part of him who wants to coach until he can’t. He’s a competitor. However, he is so beloved in Seattle. And a chance to be closer to Schneider with regards to drafting, could be tough to pass up. I got to listen to Pete speak a couple years back. He was as passionate about the game as anybody. And talked about a few good life lessons.

I think he’s staying g because they don’t want to fire him and hope somebody has to offer them picks to get Pete. Dude is a coach. Youngest 72 year old I’ve ever seen
