I like it a lot. Don't know much about Sirles but I trust Joe D. I think Law is the most likely to help the team this year. Watts is probably the most talented player on the list. He could push for playing time in 2015, especially if Hardwick retires and Watt moves to center.

It scares me that Watts is on the P.S. Injuries might change that however.

I don't get the Watts love. So he trained with a 'hot" trainer. That isn't better than talent and experience at the top college level.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Ditto. Had some moments, but very, very raw.

Ohrnberger and Watt can both play across the interior of the line. If we have an issue it's going to be because we lost one of the OTs for a significant period of time.

well he beat some pretty big odds just making it to the practice squad considering not only was he undrafted but he didn't get a contract until after a tryout. Those guys barely ever make it. There must be something there that Joe D likes. Also that trainer trained him how to be a professional, not just a player. It gave him a leg up. Bentley is legit. Look at how many guys he made something out of. Alex Boone for example.

Maybe Watts goes all Dielman on us. It can be done. We'll see. But it's long odds and he definitely isn't ready now.

I hope he's not the next Nick Richmond.

Don't disagree with any of that. Just don't think he's ready to contribute this season. He's a perfect practice squad guy.

                      I agree with that.

Notice there are only 9 on the practice squad? I wonder if they are saving a spot for a RB (Grice/Oliver) when/if we sign Vickerson.
