I may not watch the games live, but I *AM* a slave to tradition.

Cardinals are a good team. It's Opening Day. They won't run away with it, but they will win a close one, as we stare down the barrel of an 0-2 start. Which means I won't get to see my first snap of Charger football in 2014 until AT LEAST September 21st.

I do have this down as 1 of our 6 losses. 0-2 does seem like a reality, but it's still good to have Charger football back. Even if I have to finish watching the game Tuesday. Have I mentioned how I hate that we keep starting the season as the 2nd half of a Monday Night Double Header?

It definitely sucks if you're not in the Pacific time zone. The game starts here at 9:20 pm this week. That means it's not over until at least after midnight and I have to be up for work the next morning before 6:00 am.
It was much worse when I was stationed in Europe though. The games started there usually after midnight, so I'd have to record them and avoid any newspapers, radio or tv until I could watch the game.

Same for me SC. I'm just inside the central time zone. I get up at 0445 so I can be in by 0600. I thought about taking Tuesday off.
