So two plays Mario won. I'll take that ratio. Again, highest paid DE in football. No sacks given up.

One other thing I see in that sequence is Troutman double teaming the inside guy which left that huge hole to his right that Mario was able to exploit. Now I'm no O line coach, but leaving gaps like that is generally a bad thing on the O line no? maybe Fluker was expecting his left side to be covered?

Either way, that looked like a sweet move from Mario.

      What ratio?

The blogger used an example of two plays. That doesn't say anything about a ratio.

        ?

the sequence shows Feast Mode blocking the inside guy first then engaging the lb (#55?) who was also shooting through the gap, just as Fluker got juked

I'm surprised that Fluker is not protecting against the inside move on a run up the middle. Give up the outside, Mario would be too late to the play if he had to go outside of Fluker.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Does nobody see the read gloved hand on Flukers face mask? That is how you move a body, by contoling the head... Good play by the DE? Or non call by the reff???

IF you are referring to a 5 technique being an outside shade it is.

34 teams line the DE in on a 5 technique, but they make it very tight. just wide enough to avoid getting hooked. So they are align more like on the OT outside eye.

43 teams play their 5 technique much wider, so Williams starts out so that his right arm is just even with Flukers outside of his frame.

Both are 5 techniques, just different ways of playing them.
