I don't doubt he was stirring the pot. But I've heard the guy being interviewed on local sports radio, and he was all fan. He was fawning over Manning. He even wrote a book about Peyton. Maybe he's not a Bronco fanboy, but he's a Peyton Manning Fanboy for sure.

Kiszla is a worse reporter than Acee. That should pretty much say it all.

This only seems to rear it's head when Peyton Manning is the guy who didn't get to touch the ball. I'll be thrilled when he retires so the NFL and the media can jump down off of his sack.

They'll just find someone else. Before Manning it was Favre. Before Favre, Aikman. And so on. Someone will become *the* media darling when Manning finally retires.

Its been Rodgers of late but so far he hasnt been able to pull a rabbit out of his hat. Thank GOD Brady has not been put on his normal pedestal of late.

Its funny how the media is always on the lookout for the next "best qb ever".....Luck, RG3, now Wilson..........these guys dont typically hold up over the long haul to be consistent. Rivers IMO even in his crap OL 2 years was still in the 80s for rank and typically was 100+ and really gets little credit because the TEAM hasnt pulled it all together to win a ring. Oh well...hopefully he gets it sooner than later.

I'm sure you are right, but I am sick to death of the entire Manning family. Probably another 2-3 years of Peyton, then five years later his Hall of Fame stuff. ECry, I'm not sure how much longer he'll be around. One decent game and all the "is ECry back stuff" starting to show up. Hopefully he'll continue to suck and disappear sometime soon. I was concerned Manning love would get him in the Hall of Fame somehow, his two Super Bowls would get overplayed and somehow they would get him in just for the brothers in the Hall angle. But he has sucked enough that unless he turns it around it will be hard for the Manning ball lickers to get him in.

                  LOL.

The de evolution of Acee these past few years has been a sad sight to behold.

He's not all fan. What he does is play a role and get opposing fans riled up. He does it every week for every team. And fans of other teams give him crap for weeks and he loves it. Fans of every team talk about him after games.

I find him entertaining because I know he's not serious

I know he likes Peyton but he's also been critical of him. He doesn't believe that one person can win it all for the broncos

Acee is only recognizing what gets people talking to and about Acee

Manning will just end up on some pregame show or worse, in the booth. We're stuck with that jughead for a long time to come. :killme:

The media already seems to have their "new guy" waiting in the wings. His name is Andrew Luck.

I am not here to suggest that Luck does not have the tools to excel at QB in the NFL, but the guy is wildly overrated by the media when compared to his actual performance so far. Here is a reality check. Luck was ranked 26th in QB rating in 2012 and 18th last year. Still, some people would have us believe that he is better than Rivers is right now. How quickly can I throw my BS flag on that?!

This year Luck is off to a nice start (not as good as Rivers, but nice), but we will see where he ends up at the end of the year. I have no problem giving the guy credit if/when he starts putting up whole seasons that are at least above average, but that really has not happened yet.

Thankfully, the notion that all things Manning are great will end with Peyton Manning's retirement. Not even the media Manning knob slobbers can hide Shitli's shortcomings. Good to see Shitli off to an early lead in his quest to lead the NFL in INTs for the 4th time (among several other top 5 finishes in INTs).

I can't believe that some people were talking about Shitli clinching his enshrinement into the Hall of Fame after the Giants won their second Super Bowl with him at QB. Maybe if he ends up as the worst QB in the NFL in INTs for the 4th time (among his other narrow misses) we can finally say with confidence that he has clinched never making the Hall of Fame.

The guy that I don't mind at all getting some positive play in the media is Aaron Rodgers. He deserves credit for putting up some outstanding numbers over multiple seasons despite having some pretty mediocre to weak OL support. He is off to a slower start this year by his high standards, but I suspect he will turn things around before the season is finished.

Sadly, the one thing we can be sure of is that Rivers will continue to be the most underrated QB in the NFL by those in the media.
