Adams, Portland State, Sr.,...Adams, a senior running back from Atlanta, GA, turned in one of the finest rushing seasons in Portland State history. He ran for 1,600 yards and 19 touchdowns on 256 carries for the year. His rushing total ranks fourth all-time for a season in PSU history. The touchdown total ranks third all-time. The 5-10, 210-pound Adams led the Big Sky Conference in rushing and touchdowns, ranked fourth in the nation in rushing yards per game (133.3) and sixth in touchdowns. Adams rushed for more than 100 yards in a game nine times and 200 yards three times. - Portland State football
