  • Chargers sign Donald Parham

    XFL standout. Thoughts?

  • #2
Big, tall tight end. I really liked him in the XFL, he was the "go-to" guy for Dallas when they needed to convert a third down or make a big play. He's 6'8, only 22 years old, small school so still a lot of room to develop. I think it was a low-risk high-reward signing.

He is a big dude. Looks like he got some seasoning in the XFL. If he can learn from Mike Williams and HH for red zone work he could be be deadly there.

He has much if not more upside than most TEs in this draft.
Athletic and size freak from podunk school.

This could be one of those signings that gets somewhat ignored but ends up being one of the best.

Culkin still a FA, and.... unsigned ??

                not coming back ??

Parham a receiving TE.... is AL softening his stance on blocking TEs ?? (let alone blocking WRs ?

He can learn to block and looked physically bigger in the XFL. Possible Red Zone weapon, ST player, while developing as a TE. This is the perfect kind of guy that may benefit from the expanded roster.

                    TEs always welcome.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

This is a good signing, with minimal risk. I like it.
