My unsung hero for this game

Is Branden Oliver. No he didn't have a monster game and no he is not Danny Woodhead but what he showed me is that he can be a viable backup and someone who can catch passes out of the backfield especially on third downs. And if given the opportunity I believe he can be decent at running the ball also. Now I know he's no Mathews but I just got this feeling that the chargers have a gem on there hands with him.

We threw to our backs often and effectively today. He did well. He had a few good chips on pass rushers as well.

Yes I realize this. Im just saying that with Woodhead being out for the year that Brandon Oliver could be that third down back we need this year. I know he didn't have a monster game but he did show me he can play and be a decent receiver out of the backfield.

Please explain to me why a RB can't be the unsung hero. Especially the likes of a Brandon Oliver. Who most people probably think that he won't amount to much in the NFL. I however who is probably in the minority here believe the chargers have a gem on there hands.
