I just think most players overlook the “no fans no home field advantage” and see us as few pieces away from being real contenders

Kinda same with the draft. If I was to go to any of the top 10 teams, Best situation would want the chargers.

Could be a plan C move in case of injury. Or maybe they are not happy with progress of Tevi.

Lynn just tell Storm to force the edge guy to always go the long way around, so the QB can step up or jump out the window. Even if you don't hold the block very long or almost whif, he still has to go around you. Just dont be a turnstile and let him straight through. Can you do that Storm? Do it better than Tevi and you can take his job.

not in first round...... TT has been preparing team for taking a rookie QB early or in trade...... TT already signed a pro bowl pair of linemen for right side which would block blind side of a left handed QB like Tua.......... every move made has been pointing that way......

Remember one thing is that TT values guys like Bosa who dominated every time they were on the field multiple years at a major program over guys who were ok but never dominated.....

Bill Polian was on NFL radio this morning and they asked him which QB he would take between Burrow and Tua if both were healthy...... and he said Tua but both are ver close....both have the the qualities of all the truely great QB's that you cannot teach..... He actually compared Tua to Mahomes because Tua also has a unique ability/instincts to create big game winning plays outside of the normal play design....

He believes both Tua and Burrow will be great elite type of QB's in NFL and ONLY concern is the injury factor...... you dont gamble on injuries for average NFL players, but if you are going to gamble on injured players only do so for rare generational players......

My guess is TT probably views things similarly since he learned from years of working under Polian....... my guess is that TT also knew he was going to be looking for a rookie QB before this past season started, so he has probably already had multiple interviews with Tua, Burrow, Hebert, Love, well before this pandemic started...... so he clearly knows already how he has them ranked on his board.

If the Chargers were sneaky smart, they would be letting out fake info that Tua was maybe off our board...... so maybe miami gets scared and trades up to take Hebert........ Before the Bosa draft, TT did nothing to dismiss the media rumor that Chargers were going to choose Ramsey.......when they wanted Bosa all along..... let media think we are taking hebert.....

if I'm not mistaken Trai Turner is anything but a Pro Bowler.... wasn't his PFF score scarily similar to the guys we already have/had, i.e. Feeney/Scho

and ditto for Bulaga…. thought that was his thing.... good/solid but never named to the Pro Bowl ??

and guessing if Telesco is sneaky smart that we would be putting all the QBs on the inactive list for the draft, or @least at the bottom of his round one board ??

ps. rare and generational is no way to go thru life if you're relegated to the pine due to chronic/incessant injury

Having the 6tgh pick in the draft gives them a great opportunity to break that trend - yet, most of the members want a QB or Simmons.
