Did the Rams put a stop to the Chargers wearing yellow with royal blue? Did the Chargers think the colors were too much like the Rams jerseys? I don’t like the new yellow outfit at all better than the original color rush jerseys. I guess everyone has their own opinion but to me, we went backwards lol.

That's actually a good question. We scrapped the royal alternates for what I hoped was bringing back the Coryells. As that didn't happen maybe there's something to it. We're just renters after all.

Can't stand the unitard look every team has now. For the Chargers, it was interesting back in '03, when we saw it once - but that was because it was a novelty to wear the home jersey with the away pants.

I would have liked for them to include white pants with the navy jersey (and no numbers on the helmet), but oh well. Overall, just glad the SD navies are back with that yellow/navy/white bolt.

The powder blue pants look great, IMO. Besides, Omarion Hampton is already used to them.

The yellow jerseys? That would be the Chargers' version of the 1977 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Creamsicle Orange jerseys.

Not really wanting to see an epic battle between the Creamsicles and the Bananas.

Powder blue pants will be a sleeper hit. They're an upgrade over the yellow pants.

Yellow on yellow is hopefully a one-off. Not in love with it, but it's the expected endgame with all the combos we have now.

The SD Navy is nice and what I was largely expecting. The nitpicks: take the helmet numbers off, go standard block numbers and lettering (strangely fine with the new shoulder bolt), and yes, white pants. Also, go with a blank front bumper or use the old Chargers word mark. The LA tail bolt throws it off.
